How old should kids start wearing make up to school ?

im juss wondering .

but i want to wear makeup to school but my parents say im too young !

im almost 13 !How old should kids start wearing make up to school ?
I think 13 would be a good age, you're finally a teenager and being able to wear make-up is a nice step to show that you're growing up.

You're parents should be helping you out with these kinds of things. A great bonding experience for you and your mom would be to go out make-up shopping and having her show you the ropes so you dont end up looking like an Egyptian queen. How old should kids start wearing make up to school ?
I started wearing makeup at the beginning of 6th grade. I also wore it to school. I wore some concealer on the occasional pimple, and some gray or navy blue eyeliner (not heavy, just a natural, thin line), and lipgloss. Now I'm 13 and I wear concealer, black or navy blue or gray eyeliner, lipgloss, and powder to hide shiny, oily skin.
hi

I am 13 and have been wearing makeup for school everyday since I was 12. It gives me more confidence and I feel I am old enough as I am now a teenager. Try explaining to your parents that you will only wear a little bit and it will look natural. Act mature about it and don't throw a tantrum if they say no. They are your parents afterall, and their opinion matters and if they definately want you to wait before wearing makeup, listen to them and concentrate on other ways to boost your confidence and look good.
i started wearing makeup to dances when i was 11. but my mom did it for me so i didnt plaster it on lol

i started wearing it to school when i was 12 (in grade 7)

thats also when i started doing it bymyself, but my mom had to aprove first.

when i was 13 (grade 8) was when my mom let me have complete control.

she doesnt like how much eyemakeup i wear but ohwell lol

talk to your parents about it.

explain why you want to wear makeup so badly, and show them just how much your planning to wear. they might change there minds.

maybe even ask your mom to take you shopping for some! she could help you pick out stuff that would look good on you, and it would be a good bonding thing for you guys.

if not just put it on at school and wash it off before you get home lmfao

:D
ok seriously screw all the people saying you have to be effin 16 or w/e. no. you guys are wrong. deal with it. so anyway, i started wearing make up in the 5th gradeee (yahh thats right betches) so 13 is NOT too young at all i dont no wat these ppl are talkin about. just as long as you know wat your doing, go to a make up store like ulta or merle normans and have someone match you for colors so your wearing the right kind of colors and the right kind of foundation and everything so you dont end up looking like a clown, you no?
If I remember correctly, I started around 12 or 13. As a now-29-year-old, I now believe 12 is too young. If I had a daughter, I'd have her at least wait till high school, unless there's a special occasion like a school dance...then I might just let her wear a little mascara or something. I'd also make an exception if she had bad acne...I'd let her wear some concealer or something.
Kids shouldn't wear make-up, it just looks wrong and unnatural. Makeup is for over fifteens and dancers. Listen to your parents.I know that sounds weird now but trust me you will be grateful when your skin doesn't have horrible acne from make-up overload and you have more money for more important things! Hope this helps!
Well one thing is the schools rules, like do they allow you to wear makeup anyway, I started wearing makeup to school just last year when I was 15, i think since you're still only twelve you're parents are probably right, depending on how much makeup you are going to wear
Honestly, I feel for you. I didn't start to actually wear makeup until I was about 13 and it was light makeup (lip liner, lip stick, eye shadow, eye liner and mascara). We were all once there when we were mad as hell that our parents wouldn't allow us to do something, but it's all for the best. I didn't start to wear heavy makeup like concealers and foundation until I was about 16. And when I wore makeup when I was 13-16, it was when I was going out mostly with family, special occassions at school and around places.

I'm 23 and I don't have kids as yet. My nieces and nephews think I'd be one awesome Mom because I'm so easy-going. Not to brag about myself, but a lot of kids I know think I'm so cool because I'm a fun person. But honestly, I wouldn't allow my daughter to wear makeup until she's 13 and ONLY on special occassions. She could wear light makeup to school when she's 14 and and she could put whatever the hell she wants on her face when she's 16. I think 16 is a reasonable age because you're mature and you know what your doing, hopefully.

E-mail me at wonderwoman695@rocketmail.com for more information. LOL.

P.S. If I saw a 12-year-old walking around with tons of makeup on, I'd think of her parents of not very good people to be sending their child looking like that. Consider that. Even the funnest people in the whole world know about boundaries!
i started wearing make up when i was 12 but i didnt go all out i just put some on my eyes thats it just tell ur parents that your almost a teenager and tell them your not a baby and just say that your only gonna put some on ur eyes it worked for me and they liked what i put on wasnt too much or wasnt too little im 16 now and i still really only put makeup on my eye%26lt;33
you are a little young

maybe you should talk to them about just wearing eyeliner or something

eyeliner isn't that bad

plus you shouldn't be putting on makeup so soon anyways because it will ruin your skin and you will look older faster

talk to your parents and try to make a deal with them
wearing make up at 13..is really skanky :P..i mean seiously..if you dont put it on right like ..you will look like a hooker :P..i started wearing make up 5 months before i turned 15..so wait a while :P..and your parents know whats best for you..and some times they screw up..but still..they are only trying to look out for you, that is thier job..lol..
I started wearing make up at like 12.

But if your parents say your to young, then dont argue.

Cause if you do, that'll prove your not mature enough to wear makeup so they can just bring that up as another point of theirs to prove.
yeah 13 would be okay (to me) for a little mascara and gloss but dont cake it on, keep it very light. and you should never NEED makeup, it should just give you a tiny confidence boost :)
you're 12. okay, they won't let you wear makeup. Does it mean you cant still be fashionable? dont focus so much on the make-up, focus on your hair %26amp; clothes with accessories.
I think I was your age when I first started wearing make up. I'd say that's pretty normal. Your parents are just afraid that you won't be their little girl anymore if you put it on.
Your not too young!

As long as you don't pour on heavy, dark, trashy make up it only makes you look prettier.

I started wearing make up when i was 11.
i started wearing make up to school when i was 13, i dont think its too young. just dont overload your face because that is so trashy.
You are too young....

16 is when I think you should wear makeup, if you do it at a young age like 13 you look like a total ****.
I started wearing make up freshman year so I was 13? somewhere around that age, and nobody really cares if you do or don't at school
My mom wouldn't let me wear any kind of make up, whether it was for school or somewhere else, until I was 15. You're still too young to me.
Your one year from high school tell your parents to wake up
my little brothers are 12 and 13 and non of there girl friends wear makeup wait till your 14 or 15. and then just use it for little things.
i started at 13. =] that doesn't mean wear tons and tons of makeup though. just some mascara and blush is fine!
If you were my kid I probably wouldn't let you wear it until you were about 16. Mentally.
thirteen is a good age im thirteen and i wear eyeliner mascara blush eye shadow and foundation :]
Your first year of college.
Short answer here. Parents rule.
I go to a CATHOLIC school and i'm 13 and the girls in my class where make up....even though its not aloud.
oh your not to young young girls need to express your slef and if make up is how you do it then go head
14-16 depends on your parents listen to them
