I've heard that Christine Valmy in New Jersey is pretty dang good to train to become a professional makeup artist. It's in Pine Brook, NJ. It apparently has a full comprehensive makeup artist program teaching both basic and advanced techniques. It should equip you for a makeup artist career in anything you want - weddings, modeling/fashion, TV/entertainment, stage/theater - go nuts! :) There's more information about the school below and you can actually request information from them pretty easily there.
