Is it ok to wear a lot of make-up to school?

I have a friend who wears a lot of make-up at school - do you think this is too much?


- Foundation


- Blush


- Eye-Liner


- Purple Eye-Shadow


- Mascara


- And pink/purple lip gloss?


Is this why she gets teased a lot?

well, It seems to me that your friend is just experimenting with it.What's wrong with that,if she feels like doing it and it's not hurting anyone, why the heck not?Is it ok to wear a lot of make-up to school?
Look this is what i think.


It's ok to put on a bit of make up and dress up a bit for school, but what your friend puts on for school is too much. Whats the use, wouldn't it be nice if you look different and nicer out of school??? She'll just look the same because it's impossible to put more makeup so she won't look special or different.
Sounds like a lot to me. My answer is it's never okay to wear too much...unless you're trying for a certain role in a band or whatnot....
hopefully there not emo, but the more makeup, the worse ur going to look without makeup so there are consequences

She probably gets teased cause it makes her look like a wh***.





If she has blonde hair then maybe thats why she should lighten up a bit. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH WEARING AS MUCH MAKE UP TO SCHOOL.





Wait, it does matter for elementary cause like no one does, in highschool thats when people start more.
dont use eye shadow ,,and little foundation
there is no use wearing makeup to school when all u do there is learn and eat. lip gloss is okay. i believe in natural beauty so people won't think i';m hiding somey=thing on my face. which would never work anyway.
ew, i wouldn't wear that much. yes, that is totally much-much! i don't even wear any makeup to school, ya know. people tease me so, once, just because i wore a teeny tiny bit of lipgloss. really. well, maybe that's the reason she gets teased a lot...
If she wears them in shades that look natural it's not too much.

No.. Too much make-up makes one ugly... It's better if one looks more natural... Im not anti-make-up or anything... I love make-up.. But not too much!!

I won't wear blush or mascara or foundation. Light purple eyeshadow is fine.
As long as she's not using to much of any of those things I think that's fine. That's about what I wear on a daily basis.

nope, i've worn more, and not have been made fun of, but also it might depend on your school, i'm in high school and it has 1800 kids in it.
That's a stupid amount of makeup for school, and probably why she gets teased.





Foundation on blemishes and mascara are all you should wear, unless you want to look stupid.
Well i wear a hella lot of make up too.


But just know that if you wear to much, its going to clog your pores and you will break out. Maybe if she is getting teased its cause her foundation isnt the right color? Or she puts to much blush on? Or maybe, its not the make up..
foundation: make sure its the same color as ur skin at the time ( if u have a tan, get a new foundation)





blush: as long as its not to extremes!!!! make sure she doesnt look like a wannabe clown





eye liner: make sure its a thin line, not to thick. i use silver/ gray. a REALLY light color, so u cant see if its thick or not





purple eye shadow: is a no no. one of my ex friends used it. it looked funny. give her a light pink/ peach to use. no bright art colors. keep it neutral





mascara: sure why not? as long as its not REALLY thick.





pink/ purple gloss: if the pink is light its fine. like a pastel. no purple, it draws attention to herself.





ask her to keep it all neutral! it'll make her that much more attractive!!!





heres something to tell her.





a new girl came to our school for one day to see if she liked the school and if she wanted to come next year. one of my dissolving friends said, ';i think im gonna like her. she's the only other girl in the grade that wears make up.'; so i fired back: ';girls that wear alot of make up are not confident with themselves so they hide behind lots of layers of cosmetics.'; to which our p.e. guy coach said (he was listening the whole time): dont wear alot of make up because it confuses guys small brains, and then they malfunction and dont know if its u, or the make up they like.';





i wore make up at the time: but just the light silver and mascara like i said before. so it wasnt noticeable, but i liked the way it looked.

sweetie your friend can wear whatever she wants just as long as it makes her happy.
its not a lot of make up. But if shes 13...that would look like if she were. u know a prostitute. so keep it simple just use the eyeliner. the mascara. wait hold on... purple? at least black or brown.. she probably wants attention.
