Age 12-13 but not too much make up.When should my daughter start wearing real make up to school?
IM A YOUNG MOM WHO TOO HAS A DAUGTHER.I WOULD SIT HER AND TALK.THEN START OFF WITH TINTED LIP GLOSSES AND MAYBE A LITTLE EYESHADOW.BUT LIGHT COLORS THEN SHE WIN AND YOU TOO.SHE'LL THINK SHE REALLY DOING SOMETHING BUT AGE 13.THE MAG 17 IS GOOD FOR MAKEUP TIPS FOR YOUNG GIRL SO THEY DONT LOOK LIKE THEY GOT IT ONWhen should my daughter start wearing real make up to school?
your daughter could start wearing make-up around 7th or 8th grade just some light mascara and eye shadow with some nice gloss
Around the time the majority of other girls start wearing it. I know just because other parents let their kids do it...is not a good reason. But you really don't want her to be left out and made fun of because of something like this. Even when she starts wearing it, I would go over the right type of makeup to wear during the day and for her age. (Example no heavy eye makeup or lip makeup). Just foundation and mascara and lip gloss should be enough to wear to school.
Our rule is 16, no earlier!
Lil bit in junior high, more in highschool.Make sure you teach them how to wear it though so that they look classy, and not slutty.
Eleven is a good age, as long as you make sure she takes proper care of her skin %26amp; doesn't wear too much foundation.
I think it depends why she wants to wear it. My mom let me wear cover up for blemishes around 12, but not mascara and more until 14 (freshman year). Now I don't even like wearing any! LOL
Our rule is Junior High (13).........lip gloss and maybe some mascara. Then in high school she can add some color to her eyes with eyeshadow and eye liner.
15 in the UK is acceptable.
Well I am in middle school, and this is what I will say:
In my school, in 6th grade you can go just plain natural, or wear a little bit of mascara. In 7th grade everybody wears mascara and a lot of people wear light eyeshadow and definately lip gloss. You could basically wear like whatever you want in 7th grade besides foundation, blush, or lipstick. Same with 8th grade. In high school, she should just wear whatever.
p.s. modernly, I honestly think 16 is too old. Definately more like 12 or 13
I'm a daughter not a mom. But I didn't start wearing any make up till eighth grade. I don't think lipgloss though should matter, or mascara. But like foundation and eyliner and eye shadow is something that takes time to get because, in the words of my mom, ';if you wear too much you just look trashy'; so, I guess I'm saying lipgloss, and mascara it doesn't really matter. But the big stuff, is more of a, start teaching them, unless they don't ask about it, kinda thing.
age 7
our rule is also 16
